What is the AirID Legacy Program?
Keep your existing AirID devices secure, current, and supported without replacing your hardware. The optional 12-month Legacy Program adds ongoing access to new AirID Central features, firmware enhancements, OS compatibility updates, technical support, and device registration. Without this Maintenance and Support License your AirID will not receive AirID Central Firmware Updates.
What does the AirID Maintenance and Support License include?
- New releases of AirID Central with all feature enhancements
- Firmware updates with new functionality for your device
- Compatibility maintenance for new Windows and macOS releases
- Technical support by e-mail, committed response within 24 hours on business days
- Access to the customer portal showing the status of your cases
- Registration of your device in our device database, identified immediately in a support case
- A demonstrably maintained state for your IT documentation
License and Support Details
- Each purchase of an AirID comes with one free year of the Maintenance and Support License. After that year a subscription is required to have access to the above listed inclusions.
- Terms - Each Maintenance and Support License lasts 12 months unless purchased for multiple years in advance.
- Every release published during your term may be used permanently — including after the subscription ends. If you let it lapse, you stay on the last release you were entitled to; newer releases require a new subscription. Resuming after a gap incurs a one-off reinstatement fee of $80 per device.
- After Purchase, You will receive a link to register your serial number(s). You find the serial number on the packaging, in the AirID Central app under About, or on the device display when you switch it on. Only then is the subscription linked to the device. Please register within 90 days.
