PKI Solutions

HiD ActivID Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) refers to the process by which digital certificates for Identification are stored on a smart card.

The two key system of PKI uses a “public key” and “private key” in a set of roles and procedures needed to create, store and revoke digital certificates managing public-key encryption. Inside this secure smart card, digital certificates (aka credentials) can be stored for any number of use cases. Some of the most common applications for digital certificates are Windows logon, digital document signing, secure application logon, and email encryption. .

Tx Systems offers many different PKI solutions from government trusted security partners like ActivIdentity to robust Enterprise level solutions such as Charismathics. Our goal is to make it easy for companies to adopt a PKI solution and ensure secure employee access to keep their systems safe.
