"Auto-issuance" for hands-free use
For administrators who don't want to manage the Sphinx system, Sphinx CardMaker software is set by default to "auto-issuance" settings and requires no administrator interaction. As long as the server computer is switched on, end-users can self-enroll with Sphinx at their computer using their ID card, the Sphinx Logon Manager software, and a desktop card reader.
Under "Help" in the Sphinx Logon Manager software, end-users are referred to the Sphinx support site for QuickStart guide, manuals, and support information, which ensure that end-users have all the information that they need to work easily and optimally with Sphinx. If an end-user loses his card, he can self "re-enroll" with Sphinx and access his previous Sphinx data if he knows his personal security code. |
