Windows 2000 & XP users
For customers using Windows 2000 and XP you must only download the drivers and through Windows Add/Remove Hardware feature install the reader.
Windows 98, 98 SE, & Me users
For customers using Windows 98, 98 SE, and ME you must first download and install the Microsoft Smart Card Base Components before installing the SCR 335 drivers.
The Smart Card Base Components install a Windows service that allows smart card able applications to communicate directly to Windows through PC/SC.

Once download of both the base files and drivers are complete please follow the directions below.
- Install SCBASE.EXE
- Install SMCLIB.EXE
- Plug in SCR 335 and install drivers through plug-n-play
- Reboot
It is recommended to have the device plugged into host during bootup.
