The table below contains the drivers for the SCM line of smart
card terminals. Each column designates the operating system as
well as driver type and the rows indicate which reader the driver
is for.
For most users, the highlighted second column labeled ‘Windows
PC/SC CT-API Installer’ will be the appropriate download.
These installers (when executed) will install the necessary drivers for the chosen reader
to the target machine’s hard drive.
For those who wish to download the driver files only (without
an install package), please select the operating system and reader
to download. These downloads are ONLY the driver files and do
not include an installer. Therefore, they must be installed manually.
For additional support on utilizing the driver files only with
your applications please contact support@txsystems.com.
*CCID - CCID is a standard for smart card reader firmware. All of
the newer versions of the SCR 131, 331, and 531 readers utilize
the CCID firmware and drivers. Therefore, if your reader is new,
you will want to use the CCID version of the driver.
