    Tx Systems, Inc. now offers 1KB Mifare Contactless Smart cards

    Contactless smart cards contain an antenna embedded in the card for communication with the reader. The user simply has to place the card on or near the reader rather than insert into the drive. Mifare cards can be used for many of the same applications as contact cards, particularly where speed is imperative. The cards have been used particularly in physical and logical access applications.
