Which readers work with this driver?
The driver understands the protocol for talking to any Towitoko reader
labelled as "Chipdrive". This includes Chipdrive Micro, Chipdrive
Extern, Chipdrive Extern II, Chipdrive Intern, and Chipdrive Twin.
The most recent readers labelled as "Kartenzwerg" use the same protocol
as Chipdrive, and should work with this driver, although they have not
been extensively tested.
Both serial and USB models are supported.
Which smartcards work with this driver?
The driver works with processor cards with direct or inverse convention,
and with memory cards that uses the I2C bus protocol, 2 wire protocol
or 3 wire protocol.
Access to memory cards is provided via the Interindustry Commands described in the
MCT v09 part 7 spec
.
Both T=0 and T=1 protocols are supported for asynchronous smartcards. PPS and baudrate selection from 9600 bps to 57600 bps is supported.
This driver includes support for CPU Cards as well as I2C,
2 wire, and 3 wire memory cards. For the latest version of this driver please check
