Tx Systems - CHIPDRIVE Smart Card Terminals

The Towitoko CHIPDRIVE readers all use the same driver software which makes them interchangeable and easy to integrate. The CHIPDRIVE driver software supports Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 and XP. We also have CHIPDRIVE drivers for Linux, UNIX and Solaris. The CHIPDRIVE readers require that developers use the CHIPDRIVE Developer Pack tools as well as the SCard interface. The CHIPDRIVE readers are only available with a serial interface (for USB please see the SCM SCR Readers). 	The CHIPDRIVE micro's compact design and cost-effectiveness makes this terminal perfect for mass applications. 	The micro 110 is just like the micro 100 but also features a serial passthrough connector cable that allows for shared use of the serial port with a serial mouse(mouse only). The power is supplied through the PS/2 port. Integrated red status indicator light. See Datasheet for CHIPDRIVE micro 110 specifications. 	A single serial port connection makes the micro 120 simple to install. Like the micro 110, the micro 120 has a serial passthrough connector cable for use with a serial mouse. For the power supply, a NiMH battery is integrated into the cable that ensures card current supply in any environment. The NiMH battery recharges itself from the serial port automatically and never needs to be replaced. Integrated red status indicator light. See Datasheet for CHIPDRIVE micro 120 specifications. 	The CHIPDRIVE micro 130 is the USB version of the CHIPDRIVE micro line of cost effective smart card terminals. The USB connection allows the micro 130 to connect to the USB port for both power and communications. See Datasheet for CHIPDRIVE micro 130 specifications. 	The CHIPDRIVE extern 330 is a desktop USB version of the CHIPDRIVE reader. The USB connection allows the extern 330 to connect only to the USB port for power and communications. For developers interested in utilizing the CHIPDRIVE line of smart card readers please refer to the CHIPDRIVE Developer Pack. Quantities are limited. 	The portable CHIPDRIVE smart card terminal has a large display and compact design (supports memory cards only, no support for microprocessor cards). Software for the mobile is downloadable using PC-compiled programs that can be transferred via service cards. memory capacity enables extensive data collection for central processing.
