Driver V3.0 for CHIPDRIVE micro / extern / intern / keyboard
The installation of this driver version is required for the use of the above-named CHIPDRIVE readers under Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, but is also compatible with other versions of Windows as detailed below.
Operating Systems: Windows® 98, Me, 2000, XP
Prior to installing this driver, if previous version of the CHIPDRIVE readers are installed, you must remove the old driver. You can do this using the Add/Remove Programs icon from the Control Panel. Select the CHIPDRIVE Terminal Driver v.2.14.41, and click Change/Remove.

Microsoft ME Plug and Play Update
Download the Windows ME Plug and Play Update for Windows ME ONLY
This update is for Windows ME users only. This solves a problem where serial CHIPDRIVEs are not found via Plug an Play and thus are not listed in the device manager. Until now some applications may have required a manual search for the device in some cases. This update has been provided by Microsoft and must only be installed on Windows ME. Never try to install it on any other Windows version. Please be aware that Tx Systems does not offer any support for problems related to this update. For further informaton or help, refer to the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q297125 which is available on the internet.
CHIPDRIVE Diagnostic Tool
The CHIPDRIVE Diagnostic Tool provides a simple interface which allows you to easily diagnose and handle any installation problems of your CHIPDRIVE reader. This tool also provides the following:
- Thorough testing of your CHIPDRIVE reader installation
- Checks if you are using the current CHIPDRIVE drivers
- Checks for driver software updates (You must have an internet connection to check for software updates)
Note: The installer program is in German but the software has language options for English, Spanish, German, and French.

CHIPDRIVE SCard Wrapper Ver 1.02
The SCard Wrapper DLL will enable an application that was written using the SCard interface for the CHIPDRIVE readers to support any of the SCM SCR smart card readers. Simply install the SCard Wrapper DLL and the application will then work with the SCM SCR smart card readers. For customers that were using the CHIPDRIVE micro 130 the SCard Wrapper DLL will enable you to switch directly to the new model of the micro 130 which is called the SCR335.

CHIPDRIVE Toolbox v2.14
The TOOLBOX is a collection of drivers, DLLs and sample programs that enable you to easily integrate CHIPDRIVE terminals into your application programs. The Toolbox includes sample code written in C++ (download Visual Studio 6 C++ sample project here), Delphi, and Visual Basic (download VB sample code here) Send questions, comments or suggestions to Tx Systems Inc. through the 'contact us' link provided below.
For authorized customers that have previously purchased version 2.12 of the CHIPDRIVE Toolbox software, you can download the upgraded version 2.14 from the password protected Toolbox Download. To receive a valid password please fill out the information on our contact us page. Please provide your name, company name and approximate date that you purchased version 2.12 of the Toolbox software. Your upgrade password will be e-mailed to you within a few days.
