- Specific times and days: Employee cards can be coded to allow access only to their assigned areas of responsibility and only during the hours of their shift.
- Specific areas: Cards can be programmed to allow only select employees and/or guests access to specific areas of the property. This may include access to fitness and laundry rooms, lounges, bars, garages and business centers.
- Emergency access: Special cards can be created to open all doors in case of emergency and will override all other card functions, as well as the deadbolt if locked from the inside.

| Safe, Secure and Reliable |
- Cards can be programmed to operate locks during specific hours, further eliminating risk of unauthorized entry.
- Information stored onto the smart card is encrypted and nearly impossible to duplicate.
- BlueLock operates on 4 AA batteries that last approximately 3 years. The lock tells you when you need to replace the batteries, however, if the battery goes dead, the lock will still operate with a back up key.
- BlueLock comes with a one-year warranty.

- BlueLock lets you designate different levels of access (i.e., for housekeepers, room service attendants, maintenance personal); this insures the safety of guest belongings and decreases the liability of your property.
- Locks provide the ability to track which cards have been used in each lock. Therefore, in the event of an incident such as theft or injury, the lock can retrieve records that show who's card accessed the room and at what time.
- Lost keys can be deactivated instantly from the main console without having to delete the sequence from each lock.

- BlueLock has the ability to partner easily with third-party organizations such as airlines, car rental agencies and local restaurants, because the BlueLock cards can itemize billing information, allowing vendors to collect money directly from the property.
- BlueLock cards are available in blank white or with custom-printed designs, with your company's name and logo. Printed cards help create brand awareness and work as a small advertisement for your company.

For the customer
- Frequent guest cards can be created to pre-register guests online with check in and check out times. Therefore, when the guest arrives, they can bypass the front desk and go straight to their room.
- Electronic credit cards can be used, allowing guests to charge purchases such as room amenities, gaming, tickets and vouchers to their card.

- Property owners have the ability to remotely program any lock at any time. They also have the ability to track guests and employees throughout the system in real time.

BlueLock stores the last 640 room entries, which include:
- Correct card use
- Incorrect card use
- PIN verify error (i.e. another type of smart card has been inserted into the lock)
- Error count expire (i.e. a similar smart card type is being inserted but the card has been fused)
- Valid card but not valid for this location (tracks people inserting cards held for other doors in the same building)
- Lock scheme not found (card being used from another location without permission)
- No valid lock permission found on card
- Deadbolt thrown (use to track the use of the deadbolt)
- Handle opened from inside (used to track opening times of lock from inside of room)

| Wide range of reporting options |
- BlueLock system generates a wide variety of common reports, including user and authorization reports, transaction history, individual lock and smart card reports. All reports can be viewed on screen and/or printed.

BlueLock keeps records of the following:
- The number of times a card has been inserted in the lock reader
- The number of times a lock has been opened
- The number of times the batteries have been changed
- The locks serial number
